Spouse of a Deployed Military Member
Information
- This scholarship is designed to assist spouses of those serving our military in deployed locations around the world. It demonstrates Wayland's commitment to our military families that sacrifice for our freedoms. This scholarship can only be awarded for terms within which the spouse is deployed.

Award Amount
- 25% of tuition expenses, up to $500 per term.
Ìý
Eligibility
- Applicants are required to be fully admitted to the university
- Applicants must be considered at least a part-time students
- Applicants are required to be in good academic & financial standing
- American Samoa students must reside in American Samoa
- Hawaii students must be advised by a Hawaii Campus Advisor

- Scholarship Application Form
- Spouse's deployment orders (temporary duty does not qualify)

Plus a Request Letter (1-2 Pages) to the WBU Scholarship Committee to include:
- Enrollment plans per term/academic year (academic goals)
- How this degree will help you reach your professional goals
- Explain your financial need
